Start of Week 4 Half Marathon Training

This is week 4 of my half training. I did a 3.5 mile run + squats, lunges, push ups, & crunches (3 sets of 20).


The first day running on the treadmill after an outside run always sucks for me. I would much rather run outside but it was in the 20’s & very windy! It looks like I will be on the treadmill the rest of this week. Somebody forgot to inform Mother Nature that spring begins tomorrow.

What is the coldest temperature you’re willing to run outside in?

I really don’t like running outside if the temp or wind chill is below freezing!

  1. I ran outside Saturday and last night. Both days were approximately 32degrees or less. I wouldn’t want to run outside any colder than that. But I’m not a member at a gym, I can’t afford it, and I don’t have a treadmill at home, so if I want to run I have to do it outside because, let’s face it, an elliptical just isn’t close enough to actually running.
